Who does NOT love hot iPods?
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Almost perfect iPod; now if I could just talk to it instead of clicking...

Forget the rest and buy the best; forgetting about the voice command, this sleek beauty is HOT!

The addition of camera, video capture, FM, voice recorder makes this Nano 16GB SWEET!
+
My wish list for improvements:
Once Apple allows us to use voice commands and includes built-in bluetooth then another HUGE wave of folks (that are "tech challenged" will LOVE to purchase these iPods!

Not a huge leap
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I have both nano 4th & 5th generation. But there are some short comings of 5G I wasn't expecting. Fist of all the wide screen is can't be used in both horizontal and vertical veiw for all screens. Also the one that I bought has an insensitive sensor for shifting between views. The radio is ok, but can't use it on the dock, since it needs an antenna (earphones in this case) for reception. The camera will only take videos, but no pictures.

Yes it needs some more improvements as Apple is never ready to give full accessories at once. Still its a nice gadget. Slim, fashionable & usefull.

P.S. My 4G ipod nano has started going to shuffle mode on it's own, satndýng stýll on the dock. This should normally happen when you shake it hard. Maybe Apple has a problem with these sensors.

I absolutely love this iPod
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This newest Nano is simply incredible. My only complaint is the position of the camera sensor, it's a bit annoying to get used to at first, but you'll quickly figure out ways around it. You won't regret owning this iPod!!!

The only gadget I "had to have" in the past 7 years. Awesome
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have owned a very old 1st gen. Ipod, and the shuffle, and loved them indeed. One was a brick, the shuffle was nothing more than a click and play go-along.

Listening to and using the new Nano Gen5 now for several days, all I can say is "very impressive indeed". I had to have one, but was highly dubious of all its bells and whistles, however the unit more than delivers.

The radio is FAR above expectations, really well done, damn well in fact. The video quality was far better than expected. And the unit is, well, microscopic.

Did you know this unit has a tiny speaker in it! Yes, you can play back songs, and video audio, and recordings to a small group! Apparently the speaker is lodged somewhere inside the docking port!

I havent seen a worthwhile gadget I "had to have" in nearly 6 years, but this baby takes the cake. Thats saying a lot from someone like me who hates most everything. Good 'Job' apple freakz!

Great IPOD (for a person with small hands)
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought the 8gb version for my daughter. She's crazy about it. She especially loves the FM radio.

I then bought one for myself... and returned it the next day. It's very difficult to operate with one hand. I have a deceased iPod classic 4th gen. Unlike my old iPod, I couldn't hold the nano in my palm and navigate with my thumb. The screen is very hard to read for the presbyopic generation.

Altogether, this is a great device, but didn't work out for me. I bought an iPod touch, which is fantastic!

iPod 5th Generation Nano
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Great product! My first iPod and use it everywhere. Has more features than I can even use. My son's jealous because his 2nd generation iPod still works fine.

Love my Nano 5th Generation
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I do love the cool purple color and it is so small and light weight. The sounds is great too. The only thing I did not like was the ear phones that came with it, they were uncomfortable, so I picked up another soft pair on sale for $7.00 I also got the elastic band so I can wear it on my arm when I am doing house work or yard work and then I had to get the docking station so it charged and I could listen to it in the office, I love this little gadget.

Outstanding Nano!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Its a great product and my daughter loves it! I am really impressed with the features like the camera and radio, and it even has a pedometer. (as well as some cool games.)
As far as I-Pods go, I can truely say that this one is top notch. The only problem that I have encountered was the clear case that was recommended didn't fit the 5th generation correctly so it was useless, but other than that it still gets a good grade.

Radio is great addition to iPod, video, not so much
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Really enjoy having FM radio on my iPod.

The one in the Nano is excellent, and easy to tune. I've had a lot of small FM radios, going back to the old Walkman that was only small for its time. The FM radio in the iPod Nano is the best "small to tiny" FM radio I've ever had. [Much better than the Sansa Clip's, a player I keep around for WMA "only" content ]

Why have a radio in the Nano? I do like to pick up the headline news, and other NPR shows. Sometimes I just get tired of what I've put on the iPod myself, and enjoy scanning through the available FM stations just for something different.

I don't find any use for the video recorder. I don't find any personal use for the ability to record part of a radio show, and turned that option off as it seemed when I wanted to simply turn off the radio, I was recording.

This one is worthwhile because of the radio, and its 16GB capacity. I prefer the "form factor" of the older "FAT BOY" 8 GB. This new one has noticeably shorter battery life than the "FAT BOY." Who says skinny is always best?

The iTunes EcoSystem is excellent. There are cheaper options, there may even be "fancier" options, there is no better option.
