I found this on sale for 100 bucks so santa got it for my 3yr old daughter. She loved it but I am constantly putting the pieces back together. I wish we had spent our precious money somewhere else and not on a toy that didn’t even last a year. It constantly is falling over just with everyday play.

This is an expensive toy with little educational value. The castle is easy to put together and it is durable. My granddaughters use it for imaginary play which is fun, but the toy is too expensive relative to it’s use.

If the product was made in America (shame on Mattel)then you probably wouldn’t mind as much spending $250 on plastic. Our 4yr old, however, has a great imagination and LOVES it, therefore for that it’s worth it.

Very beautiful castle. Lots of fun. My 5 year old loves it . I just wish that I had bought it at Christmas when it was a lot cheaper.

Too Flimsy to be Fun

My brother got this for my daughter christmas 08. She hardly plays with it because it frustrates her. Everything is SO flimsy. The trim falls off. The furniture falls over constantly. The whole castle shakes and rocks when she tries to use it. Poor construction. Poor design. Very high price. Save your money and keep shopping.
If your child insists on this castle, they will NOT be happy with it once they’ve got it. Therefore, I recommend finding it second hand or something. However, if you can talk them out of it, it’s a penny saved.
Cheaper at Walmart

Just to let anyone out there know that this item is at Walmart for $49.00 as of Jan 12 2009. Will make a great bday present for my daughter. She loves Barbie. Also, all of the diamond castle toys are marked down as well. I hope this is true for other walmarts out there. Good luck.

I’m a chilean mother who wants to give this amazing toy to her daughter. In Chile, the prize was US$100, but is not on sale yet (it was in last Christmas). I’ve triying to buy it, and searching in all the world (Spain, Argentina, Brazil) and nobody else than amazon have it. But: 466 dolars is TOO MUCH. I hope they put on in sale before the next Christmas…

Are you serious? Over $400 for this toy?? Buying this toy at this price is absurd!!! How desperate would you have to be to buy it at this price! Even Ebay has it under $200!! My advice, save your money and look around!
