Cute toy for a great price Rating:4 out of 5 stars I purchased this Grow n’ style styling head for my niece’s birthday. It looked pretty nice. It’s not the same as the Barbie heads that I played with growing up in that you do not apply makeup to Barbie, you can only fix her hair. I only paid $9.99 for it on Amazon so I have to say it was a really fantastic value for the money. I think the price has since increased so while I’m not sure I would pay full retail for it, it is really cute.
Barbie Fashion Rating:5 out of 5 stars I bought this for my 9 year old daughter since she asked for a Bratz version at Christmas. I didn’t really like the look of the Bratz and thought that the Barbie version looked more appealing.
She enjoys brushing her hair and creating unique hairstyles. I recommend this for girls 9 and under.
Barbie Christmas Gift Rating:5 out of 5 stars This was a gift for my grandaughter for Christmas. She really did like it, but I think her mom liked it better. Great gift for little and big girls. Worth every penny.
Cute Rating:5 out of 5 stars This was given to my oldest daughter for Christmas and she LOVED IT! It is really cute and the growing hair is fun for her to play with. The hair bows and clips that come with it are very cute as well. I think it was a great buy. The price I payed here at Amazon was 50% off of the in store prices so I liked that as well.
Barbie Hair Rating:3 out of 5 stars The hair on this product tangled very easily. Young girls have a tendancy to pull very hard, thus pulling the hair right out.
Barbie Fashion Fever Style Head Rating:3 out of 5 stars Pretty good product. My daughter enjoys this. Lots of way to change the hair, but hair is difficult to brush. But still enjoying it.
Beware of the growing hair! Rating:3 out of 5 stars This is a very pretty doll, which is why I chose it for my 11 year old. She is really too old for such a toy, so I didn’t want to get her any of the “princess” style heads. I got it so she could style her hair and practice braiding. She loved the idea, but the fact that this doll’s hair “grows” means that there is a weird raised hole in the top of her head where the growing section of hair comes from. My daughter can’t braid or style her hair because of the big lump (hole) on top of her head!
Delivery & Quality Rating:5 out of 5 stars High quality product. Incredible delivery. I ordered 4 days before Christmas and was given a delivery date of 12-26. To my surprise and pleasure it arrived on 12-24!
Good quality….but Rating:3 out of 5 stars in total our daughters got three (different types) of Barbie “heads”… most of the time, these things just sit on the shelf. This one has the hair growing feature that DOES WORK. No matter what kind of special features they try to incorporate into these “heads”, they are still just that – “heads”. You clip on hair extensions, push the button to grow or shorten the hair, add clips to her hair and there she sits. Our kids asked for this one and the others that they received, but they’re not going to get a whole bunch of play time.
