Great scooter for my 10 year old
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Works great! All I did was attach the handlebar, charged it, and it was ready to go. My ten year old daughter has a blast with it. My only complaint…the rear tire should be like the front (pneumatic)instead of plastic and a little larger. Everything else is good.
one happy 7 year old!!!

My son wanted one of these motor scooters for his birthday but I didnt want to spend [...] This was the perfect price, perfect color (blue) and perfect gift. He still has a smile on his face.
Grandson’s Birthday Present – E100 Electric Scooter
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My grandson summed it up best when I asked him how he liked his scooter “awesome”. He loves it. It works great! He hadn’t charged the battery for three days and it still ran. My only suggestion if you’re buying it for a gift – charge the battery before you give them the scooter – then they can ride it right away.

Purchased gift for my son. He loves it. Not too fast and not too slow.
Crappy product, 2nd time around

This is very diffcult to write because I bought one 6 months earlier that works fine til this very day. The second escooter is identical to the first except, the charger broke on the 4th day, the battery doesn’t run as long as the original scooter, and RAZOR, USA is passing the buck to Amazon in order to have it replaced. I would highly recommend this scooter because my daughters love (the first one) but the second one happens to be a lemon, so good luck.
Daughter loves it

We bought this for our daughter for her birthday – it arrived very quickly and it is made very well – goes just fast enough for her. I actually wish I could get on it, but weight limit is 120 and I’m a little over that. She has great fun with it.
My daughter loves it!

We gave this to our 13 yr old daughter as a gift about 4 months ago. She loves it! She scoots around the neighborhood on her own. It has also cut down on my carpooling.
She rides it to school at least once a week and to her after-school activities.
If the battery runs out while she is on it, she just uses her legs and scoots home as if it were a non-electric scooter. It’s light enough to carry up the stairs also.
You have to remember to plug it in at night so it will always be charged. One morning it wouldn’t work even though it had been plugged in all night. We thought the battery was dead but after some thought we pressed the reset button and it was good to go.
It goes a bit slower going up hills and at the end of its charge.
Easy to assemble.
My daughter’s only complaint is that people stop her in the street and ask her where she got her scooter, how much it costs and if they can ride it too….
Excellent!

Wish I was Younger
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I really wish they had these when I was younger. My 8 year old loves her new scooter and had no problem learning how to ride it. I purchased the larger model for my older daughter and she loves hers as well. The scooter is best for riding on smooth level surfaces and does not do well driving into a driveway or up onto a sidewalk as it tends to “bottom out”. The speeds worry me a little, but then I realize they go just as fast or faster on their bikes.
Only lasted 1 year

This was the first electric scooter that I bought for my kids. It worked great and did everything that I expected at first, but after about a year, the batteries stopped holding a charge. Since it will cost about $40 + shipping to replace the batteries, I’ve decided to upgrade to a bigger/faster model, but beware that the lifespan on the batteries are limited however you can extend the life of the batteries if you only charge them once per full use so you don’t create a “memory” effect and limit the average run time.
For instance, my son would always keep it on the charger 24/7 and might use the scooter for 10-15 min, then eventually the batteries would only hold a charge for 10-15 min instead of the usual 45 min when they were new. You must completely run down the batteries before re-charging them, and also take special care to NOT overcharge them.
I’ve since bought a float charger that will automatically lower the charge current to a trickle once the batteries have been fully charged so I don’t have to worry about causing damage. I feel that Razor needs to step up and provide a smarter solution!
Mechanically, I’d give the scooter 5 stars if not for the severe deficiency in the battery lifespan.
