Beware the throttle sticks!
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
After having this unit for only 2 weeks, the throttle began sticking causing undesired acceleration. Obviously unsafe to ride. I will probably always be a little uneasy with the safety factor now. We did contact Razor who walked us through a series of tests and then decided they would send us a new throttle and electrical components. We have not received the parts yet, hopefully things will work out. I will say, I had read several negative reviews and was somewhat leery about making this purchase in the first place. I went forward relying on the good name of Razor. Hopefully they come through.
Good looking but batterries need improvements

I have been using this scooter for a week now. I followed all procedures to assemble and charge. I initially charged this scooter for over 18 hours and 8 hours after the initial charge. I tested this scooter, recorded all run time each every use and found out it will only goes 30 minutes use. At 30 minutes of use, this scooter could no longer move. I emailed Razor costumers service and asked if this is normal and they said that it is normal. Razor E300S run time is 30 to 40 minutes runtime. So, if 30 minutes runtime and goes 15 miles per hour, then it can only go 7.5 miles. But its not fully charged all the time. After 15 minutes of used I noticed the speed was slow down and down till 30 minutes of use.
I wish this product has longer charge to used. And they should make it variable speed.
I can recomend this scooter if you use it in short period of time.
Too pricey for junk…

I bought two of these. Description made it sound like a cool little scooter. Seemed kind of dependable out of the box, I’ve seen cheaper stuff. Anyway, one scooter did what I see a lot of people have experienced. It shut off just down the street. Had to stop – reset – push off and ride for maybe 100 feet – repeat! The other scooter ran good for short while, then same thing?!?! Also did’nt hold charge very long. Nothing near what the description states for battery, weight tolerance or speed. NOT WORTH PRICE!

Really good scooter but would be nice if had more running time 45 minutes is small amount of time for a 12 hour charge
This is a terrible item

This scooter is NOT for heavier riders……maybe 120 lbs maximum. After only of a day’s use when new, our son, who’s 145 lbs complained that the circuit breaker kept popping. Contacting Razor resulted in essentially instructions to rebuild the rear wheel assembly. In doing so, I discovered that the brake was very tight and dragging badly. The chain was very, very tight as well. After rebuilding the entire assembly, with the TERRIBLE instruction manual, the rear wheel was freed up considerably. Still, when used again…..continual circuit breaker popping. The problem is most definitely that the motor is way too small to produce the required torque, and once it’s hot, the circuit breaker pops. It will NOT WORK well for riders over approx 120 lbs, in spite of what they claim. The item is reasonably well constructed, despite what the Chinese did on the brake and chain tension. Only a larger motor and battery would help the situation. I cannot recommend this product….it will be a frustration to own.

Bought scooter, worked fine, we use it daily. Three weeks into it, c/b conotinues to pop. Scooters goes 5 minutes max then has to stop and reset c/b. Went on line two days ago, ordered new battery. Hopefully that is it. The two battery combo package costs approximately another $[...]. I hope that is the fix.
dissapointing

This was my 11 year old son’s BIG Christmas gift, and so far we haven’t had the best of luck with it. It is always popping it’s breaker and going dead when he rides it, it doesn’t even make all the way down the street. I think your supposed to help by kicking with it when you first get it going, but the having the seat on it makes it hard to do. It’s been a huge dissapointment. My son has only ridden it a handful of times and seems to have no interest in it, it’s to much work for to little fun. A huge $[...] flop!!!

The E300s is a great and sturdy unit. The only set back is the battery life. Battery will last about 45 min on a good charge.
great ride

I bought this scooter for my son who is 10, but here is the problems i see. This is very heavy constructed scooter, but it is missing the little things. This scooter does not have any LED light indicator when the battery is running low, so u have to take a guess if you have a full charge or not. The battery does not last long either.
This scooter is not worth the money, I rather have Schwinn instead of this.
